Download the new beta here: http://metasushi.com/stonenotes/downloads/InstallStoneNotesPreview-128.exe

There are a few things to note with this release:

    * The database is now located at [USERPROFILE]\Application Data\metasushi.com\StoneNotes. The user profile directory something like C:\Documents and Settings\Isaac\ (if your name also happens to be Isaac - otherwise replace this with your username such as Administrator or Owner).

    * If you want to bring along your existing notes from build 123, copy the StoneNotes.sndb file from the old location to this new one. For instance, I would need to copy C:\Documents and Settings\Isaac\Blueapples.org\StoneNotes\StoneNotes.sndb to C:\Documents and Settings\Isaac\metasushi.com\StoneNotes\StoneNotes.sndb

    * Tagging is fundamentally different in this release - there are actually no tags at all for now. At some point simple, plain text tags may be added.

    * However, it is now very easy to move notes around. Simply drag a note from it's current location to another note, just like you were dragging a file into a folder.

    * The parents of a note can give it custom fields - we'll be doing some demos that demonstrate this powerful feature. It is much cleaner and easier to use than the old system where each tag on a note would give it a separate box of fields. All fields now appear in one space (this is a lot like Background in HyperCard behaved, except each parent in the tree can add fields).

    * Because of the new parent system and the lack of tagging, the database structure has changed. It should upgrade an old database and import your old note text - however as of now there will *not* be any structure. This is important to note - you will need to rearrange your notes using the new drag & drop functionality. Custom field values will not propagate successfully either - this is unfortunate but a side effect of the implementation. I will be working to make this a smoother transition for people who are using build 123 or earlier, but I wanted to get this release out now so no new users begin with the old structure.
